Covid-19: The Health Innovation Coalition selects its first digital projects!

The “Health Innovation Coalition – Health Crisis”, initiated by many public and private health players in France, and of which Servier is a partner, aims at developing and implementing innovative solutions in health. It also aims to to relieve the congestion in the French health care system and allow patients suffering from chronic diseases to continue to be treated in the context of the spread of Covid-19.

Since March 25, more than 300 projects have been submitted via a dedicated platform, illustrating the dynamism of Pharmatech and e-health companies in France!

Health care institutions have also been very active, submitting around 100 requirements, reflecting their keen interest in digital solutions for patients suffering from chronic diseases.

The first projects selected by the coalition are run by:

  • Biosency, a supplier of connected objects to monitor patients’ vital signs at home (oxygen saturation, heart and respiratory rates).
  • Domicalis with their Ambulis solution for securing medical and surgical histories.
  • Apitrak, a geolocalization solution for medical equipment in hospitals and clinics.

These projects will benefit from financial support to accelerate their development and the provision of solutions to patients (more than €2.5 million in private funding combined).
