Blue March: Servier committed in the fight against colorectal cancer

Every year, the international Blue March awareness campaign takes place, dedicated to increase knowledge about colorectal cancer and above all to screening.

Servier is supporting Blue March 2020 by collaborating with Digestive Cancers Europe (DiCE), to help improve colorectal cancer screening programs.

Today, around 55% of colorectal patients are diagnosed in a late stage of the disease. Patients with a Stage I tumour, however, have a 90% rate of survival versus only 10% in the metastatic stage (late stage or Stage IV).

DiCE has organized a campaign offering the opportunity to demand appropriate colorectal cancer screening programs. One mission: increase of overall survival and quality of life.

Everyone can support this initiative by signing the petition online here.

With a million signatures, Dice and its partners could get the governments to act and help save over 100,000 lives a year!
