European Sustainable Development Weeks: More committed than ever!
Promoting health, safety and inclusion
for employees
Committed to health, committed to people.
Our corporate social responsibility applies first and foremost to our people. We endeavor to protect everyone’s safety and preserve the mental and physical health of our employees. We foster an inclusive working environment and challenge the ways we work to become ever-more flexible, cross-divisional and collaborative.
By safeguarding the well-being of every individual, we bolster our collective strength
Diversity, equity and inclusion: a profound belief
An environment that promotes authenticity and encourages people to accept everyone’s differences is an environment that enables employees to flourish and fully realize their potential.
Moreover, we have implemented a long-term #ServierDiversity program to combat all forms of discrimination while promoting diversity and developing an increasingly inclusive workplace.
We truly believe that diversity is hugely positive. This belief runs throughout our publication entitled “Servier’s Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion”.
#ServierDiversity
Rolled out across the Group, the program is structured around three key areas for action:
48%
of people occupying managerial positions in the Group in 2023 were women
6
local networks striving to achieve parity in four countries: these structures create networking opportunities, organize events for members to connect with one another, and hold personal development workshops, while also operating leadership and mentoring programs.
Servier launched She is Servier, an international leadership network made up of both men and women to support the female leaders of today and tomorrow within the Group. The network organizes conferences, mentoring schemes, training sessions and networking events to help women unlock their potential. By 2025, Servier is aiming to grow the proportion of women in top management positions to 40%.
Making safety a priority
It is by protecting the health and safety of our employees that we are able to foster a fulfilling working environment. Our Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) strategy reflects our promise to offer employees a safe and healthy workplace.
To bolster the safety culture and thereby reduce the total number of accidents, we launched the SAFE (Safety Always For Everyone) program in 2021, which sets out the essential safety rules to follow throughout the Group and gives details of ways to encourage all people working in our facilities to buy into the philosophy.
40%
2030 target: Over 40% reduction in the frequency rate of workplace accidents with lost time compared with 2021/2022
100%
of our industrial facilities carried out an EHS audit as part of the SAFE program
