Servier joins the International Federation of the Pharmaceutical Industry (IFPMA)

From last September, Servier is a member of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Associations (IFPMA). A membership unanimously approved by IFPMA’s Council.

Based in Geneva, IFPMA represents the innovative pharmaceutical industry at global level. Its role is to promote practices that encourage innovation and access to medicines towards international institutions: Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Nations (UN), World Health Organization (WHO) and forums such as G8 and G20. IFPMA brings together 38 pharmaceutical companies and 50 national and regional associations, including EFPIA (the European federation of pharmaceutical industry) and PhRMA, its counterpart in the United States.
Servier was already a member of the International Federation between 2005 and 2014. This new membership is in line with its recent development on the US market and its ever-growing involvement in discussions about the future of the pharmaceutical sector at national, regional and international levels.
