Sarah’s story, Senior Clinical Operations Project Manager, Australia

We grow hope every step of the way.

“Research is really a team endeavour, and I am glad to say we all play our part in the Servier team.”

I joined Servier more than 20 years ago because the culture of developing medicines — and Servier’s focus on people’s growth — really resonated with me. Over the years, I’ve worked on multiple clinical trials, from early-stage studies through Phase 3, across therapeutic areas including metabolism, neuropsychiatry, cardiology, and oncology. Very few companies would have offered me these opportunities.

I really value the relationships I have built over the years with both local and global study teams, and it has been fantastic to see our expansion into the USA and the APAC region. I feel that during my time at Servier I have been able to contribute to addressing unmet medical needs for patients and healthcare professionals, and I am grateful to have been involved in truly innovative programs. Servier has supported my passion for research and for bringing innovative medicines to patients who may not have any other options, especially in oncology. It makes me so happy to know that my work at Servier is important and can contribute to improving patients’ quality of life, and potentially even extending it, while also helping to ease the burden on their families and carers.

I am fortunate to be able to say that I love my work. As they say, if you find a job you love, you’ll never “work” a day in your life. The opportunity to help find treatments for patients truly drives me. I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a patient can benefit from participating in one of our studies.

I also enjoy collaborating with the different Servier teams and with the doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and study coordinators I interact with daily. Research is truly a team endeavour, and I am proud that we all play our part in the Servier team.

I derive great satisfaction from my work and am always learning and developing. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, keeping my work exciting and never dull — something I truly value.
