Changes to the Executive Committee of Servier Group 

Suresnes (France), April 26, 2023 – Servier, a global independent pharmaceutical group, announces several changes to its Executive Committee. They reinforce the Group as part of an ongoing commitment to developing an agile and efficient organization, in line with its “Servier 2030” strategic ambition. 

The Group announces the appointment of Stéphane Mascarau as Executive Vice President World Operations. Stéphane’s role will be to accelerate the commercial deployment of the Group’s therapeutic solutions in its different markets and regions. He has joined the Executive Committee of Servier following the retirement of Frédéric Sesini. 

To strengthen the long-term vision of the Group’s product strategy, Servier has created a Global Product Strategy Department which is led by Philippe Gonnard, Executive Vice President Global Product Strategy and member of the Executive Committee of the Group. Working closely with World Operations, Philippe’s role is to define the ambition and global strategy for each product and to ensure long-term success. Guided by patients and healthcare professionals, this new department will also coordinate all stakeholders involved in the product life cycle in order to maximize their value and to drive therapeutic progress.  

Arnaud Lallouette replaces Philippe Gonnard as Executive Vice President Global Medical & Patient Affairs and member of the Executive Committee. Arnaud’s role will be to strengthen scientific and medical dialogs with healthcare professionals and promote patient engagement within the Group by involving them at every stage of the medicine life cycle, from research to support beyond medical treatment.  

Servier also announces the appointment of David Hindley as Executive Vice President Human Resources and member of the Executive Committee of the Group. David’s role will be to support the large-scale transformation plans of Servier 2030 as well as increase employee engagement and develop the Group’s attractiveness worldwide. He replaces Nicolas Bouts following his retirement.   

Finally, Damien Catoir joins Servier and its Executive Committee as Executive Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, replacing Béatrice Bihr. Damien’s role will be to oversee the Legal, Compliance, Litigation Management, Public Affairs, Risk Management, and Insurance Departments, as well as the Group’s brand portfolio and Internal Control. In particular, he will assist the Group in signing strategic partnerships with the aim to strengthen its position in oncology.
