The 6th Seedpods Day was held on July 1, 2025, at our R&D Institute in Paris-Saclay. Enthusiastic young researchers and the Group’s R&D teams gathered for a daylong event full of interaction and collaboration!
A special day dedicated to therapeutic innovation
Seedpods Day is an annual scientific event devoted to SHINEDocs (Servier Highlighting Innovation through its NEtwork of PhD students and post-Docs). The day is a unique opportunity to showcase research projects and assess community impact. It reflects the Servier Group’s commitment to therapeutic innovation.
Hosted by Claude Bertrand, Executive Vice President of R&D at Servier, young researchers have risen to the challenge of presenting their research work in the form of oral presentations (“flashtalks”) or posters.
Spotlighting young research talent
Seedpods Day highlights the work of young researchers from the SHINEDocs community, created through the initiative of Claude Bertrand and Christophe Thurieau, Executive Director Global Head of Research – R&D. SHINEDocs is comprised of more than 80 PhD students and post-doctoral researchers in France and abroad, working in Servier R&D teams or on partnership projects. They represent the future of Research within the Group.
The program helps young researchers by providing them with targeted training, career advice, and networking opportunities. Seedpods Day gives these skilled individuals a unique platform to present their research to a wider audience, including Servier employees and academic partners.
Seedpods Day is organized by and for members of the SHINEDocs community themselves!
SHINEDocs members can be found in several countries:
60%
post-doctoral researchers
40%
PhD students
Les membres SHINEDocs sont présents dans plusieurs pays :
