The Mécénat Servier Charity Fund celebrates this year its seventh anniversary! A great opportunity to look back on years of commitment alongside partner non-profit organizations around the world, but also to unveil a new institutional website, as well as the commitment platform Let’s Volunteer where employees and partners non-profit organizations can interact through various commitment initiatives.
Mécénat Servier: act with passion for the common good
Embodying its mission “Committed to solidarity”, Mécénat Servier Charity Fund contributes to the activities undertaken as part of the Servier Group’s corporate social responsibility. Its vocation? To promote the Group’s values on a day-to-day basis by supporting public-interest non-profit organizations and empowering Servier employees to get involved and take part in solidarity initiatives in an atmosphere that facilitates involvement.
The strength of Mécénat Servier lies in the strong links it forges with its partners. In a decidedly collaborative approach, the Charity Fund provides financial and/or human support to associations according to their specific needs.

Since its inception, Mécénat Servier has supported over fifty non-profit organizations around the world in four main areas:

Mécénat Servier encourages the individual and collective commitment of its employees through four volunteer programs:
Since 2017, employees have been able to donate their time to partner non-profit organizations. They then carry out a public-interest mission by sharing their personal or professional know-how. In France, each employee can commit four days per year: two days are offered by the company for two days set by the employee. In the rest of the world, each country manages according to its own legislation.
Congé Solidaire® (Solidarity leave)
Since 2018, the Congé Solidaire® has made it possible for Group employees to take part during their personal vacation time in a two-weeks international solidarity mission, around two main action areas: protecting biodiversity and adult training adults.
Since 2019, all departments have had the opportunity to participate collectively in solidarity actions. This form of event strengthens team cohesion and has a positive societal impact.
L’ARRONDI sur salaire (Rounding down salary)
Thanks to the microDON platform, launched in October 2019, Servier employees in France can make a monthly micro-donation, deducted directly from their salary, to one of our partner non-profit organizations. Currently, 19% of employees participate in the scheme. Mécénat Servier supports this solidarity-based approach by matching all donations collected at the end of the year.
One new website and one new commitment platform
Mécénat Servier has created the Let’s Volunteer commitment platform, a one-stop portal for all all non-profit organizations wishing to submit a project, as well as for employees interested in getting involved in the common good.
