Innovative solutions for healthcare professionals
Close collaboration with healthcare professionals is essential to deliver optimal patient care. With this in mind, we have developed digital platforms tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals, providing them with content that is relevant to their work.
In this context, we developed the MyServier platform for doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. The goal is to improve access to reliable data and resources, thereby promoting better patient care.
Personalized support throughout the care pathway
With the need to manage medical appointments, multiple treatments, and everyday challenges, it can be difficult for some patients to follow correctly their treatment plan. At Servier, we believe that digital solutions, or “beyond the pill” solutions, provide vital additional support for patients. For example, patients can receive reminders to take their medication, which helps them comply with their treatment, thereby improving therapeutic adhesion.
In the United States, Servier teamed up with Huma to develop an app that gives brain tumor patients access to clinically validated information about their diagnosis and treatment options. The app provides patients with tools to better understand their disease and monitor its progression. Targeted features include educational resources, information on brain tumors, medication reminders, and symptom tracking.
“Patients increasingly want to be able to monitor their health outside of medical facilities. Digital solutions make this possible and expand the range of therapeutic solutions we offer. Our mission is to identify the challenges faced by patients and caregivers in order to provide tailored solutions. The app developed with Huma in the United States is a concrete example of a ‘beyond the pill’ solution that helps patients diagnosed with brain tumors better understand their disease by providing them with accessible, scientifically validated information, and the ability to monitor the progression of their disease.”

For cardiovascular conditions, which are often chronic, we have also developed a digital companion app that encourages self-monitoring through a personalized plan. This unique solution, which already covers hypertension, diabetes, dyslipidemia, angina, and heart failure, helps to improve treatment adherence among patients with cardiovascular diseases and enhance their quality of life.
Using data for an increasingly personalized approach
Digital solutions also generate valuable data. Like real-world studies, data collected using digital tools provide a very accurate indication of the patient’s degree of adherence to their treatment. They also make it possible for us to identify potential warning signs when a patient is no longer following their prescription(s) correctly.
Once analyzed, data can be used by healthcare professionals to gain a more accurate picture of their patients’ health. Treatments can then be adjusted accordingly. If a drop in adherence is detected, alternative solutions can be proposed to improve the effectiveness of the care provided.
“Thanks to new technologies such as generative AI, we can collect and analyze information on the effectiveness of treatments in real time. These advances are paving the way for precision medicine, which will ultimately benefit the greatest number of patients.”
