In this context, Servier installed an evaporator-concentrator in 2012/2013 to enable water reuse and the recovery of solvents such as ethanol.
  • Up to 6000 litres of water per day reused.
  • 65 % of ethanol recovered equivalent to 25% of total usage across the entire site.

The project is also part of a waste recovery initiative: potassium chloride, a by-product of the process, is recovered and sold.
616 tons of potassium chloride sold since 2013.
