The Spartners by Servier & BioLabs incubator was officially inaugurated on 11 June 2025. It was an opportunity to showcase a hub for open innovation in the midst of one of the most dynamic ecosystems in the world.
Spartners by Servier & BioLabs, the start-up accelerator!
The inauguration took place in the presence of Olivier Laureau, President of the Servier Group, Johannes Fruehauf, Founder and CEO of BioLabs, and Alexandra Dublanche, Vice President of the Île-de-France Region.

Operated by shared laboratory leader BioLabs, Spartners by Servier & BioLabs is designed to house healthcare biotech start-ups with state-of-the-art laboratories and office space in a 1,850 m² building. Everything is geared towards helping more than 100 scientists focus on science in complete independence and accelerate the R&D for their projects, which will ultimately benefit patients. The direct proximity to Servier employees encourages interaction and increases the chances of forming worthwhile partnerships.

The Saclay plateau: A unique research hub recherche unique
Servier’s Paris-Saclay Research and Development Institute opened its doors in 2023 in the Paris-Saclay interdisciplinary innovation hub. Ranked among the world’s top eight innovation hubs, it has international renown. The campus is home to key research organizations, international companies, start-ups, and leading academic schools and universities such as ENS, the University of Paris-Saclay, and Polytech Paris-Saclay. It now accounts for 15% of research in France, in terms of the number of researchers, and 40% of private and public research jobs in the Île-de-France region.
