Mécénat Servier publishes its annual report for 2023-24

Year after year, in line with the Servier Group’s values, Mécénat Servier’s solidarity initiatives are developing, with growing impacts, driving social innovation around the world.

The Mécénat Servier Charity Fund builds on its commitment to solidarity each day: looking beyond financial and operational support, showing solidarity also means committing to providing lasting support for its partners. It is committed to supporting them over the long term, enabling them to perform their missions as effectively as possible, in an increasingly complex, uncertain and changing world.

Three examples illustrate the Charity Fund’s commitment to solidarity, supporting partner organizations and their beneficiaries.

In Colombia, the Juanfe Foundation is working to break the cycle of poverty by providing young mothers with vocational training, psychosocial support, healthcare access and childcare services. Supporting this cause, Servier Colombia took action alongside the foundation by organizing workshops where young mothers were able to share their life experiences and benefit from professional advice to help them build their futures.

In Bulgaria and Romania, the nonprofit organization Teach For All has developed an extensive teacher training program aimed at improving education in these disadvantaged regions. Mécénat Servier provided financial support and helped recruit around 20 teachers, who were trained on modern teaching methods and digital tools.

In France, for the past seven years, Mécénat Servier has partnered with the nonprofit Un Stage et Après to promote equal opportunities and open up the business world to young people. This partnership involves both financial and human support, particularly through skills-based sponsorship. Every year, Servier also welcomes around 20 middle-school students for observation work placements. An immersive experience that enables them to discover different career paths, potentially inspiring them to work in the health sector.
