This is a first. On July 3, our first Boostcamp Patients was held, a day dedicated to innovation in oncology, led by the incubator Spartners by Servier & Biolabs, at our Paris-Saclay R&D Institute. Ten innovative project leaders have been selected to participate in this unprecedented initiative.
Co-constructing innovation with those who are its actors
Organized under the aegis of Spartners, an independent incubator at the heart of our R&D Institute in Paris-Saclay, Boostcamp Patients creates a unique space where innovation in oncology is built with and for those living with disease.
Ten project leaders were selected following a call for projects launched on January 15. Patients and associations that represent them, caregivers, researchers, healthcare professionals and start-ups… all share the same desire: to propose innovative concepts that meet unmet needs.
Innovating together, for therapeutic progress to serve patients
Throughout the day, speed meetings allowed project leaders to examine and refine their concepts. All while being supported and coached by experts!
At the end of the day, each team pitches its project in front of a jury composed of key players in oncology and innovation, as well as Servier experts.
Each project was awarded by the various members of the jury: IncubAlliance, Genopole, Polytechnique, Spartners, Servier, etc., who proposed an incubation offer, access to expertise, and tailored advice.
“Boostcamp Patients is a real gateway to innovation and patient needs. Working with patients from the beginning will allow us to deliver projects with promising prospects, with direct benefits for patients.”
