WeHealth by Servier sets its sights on a move into big data
To commence this new year, WeHealth by Servier is joining forces with French financial weekly, La Tribune, to sponsor the 6th edition of “10 000 startups to change the world”. Organised under the high patronage of French President Emmanuel Macron, this annual national competition rewards the country’s most innovative young startups. With its focus on flourishing sectors, such as the environment, health, artificial intelligence and industry 4.0, this event is an ideal opportunity to showcase the exemplary successes of entrepreneurs and their driving role in French innovation and growth.
Servier’s eHealth department has been keen to position itself as a key player in eHealth since its inception in 2016. Now, its sights are also set on a move into health data. A closely-related field, which is a vector for the improvement of processes and performance in order to create increasingly effective medical solutions. This event represents an opportunity for WeHealth by Servier to distinguish itself as a visionary in the domain of health data – a hot topic right now – and a valuable opportunity at that, given that it will be the only pharma player present. Sponsoring the Cloud, IA and Data category was the obvious choice. It will be the occasion for WeHealth by Servier to network in order to discover new gems that will serve the health of tomorrow! “Our partnership with La Tribune is also a means for us to reassert our firm desire to innovate at the sides of new generations of entrepreneurs and mark our commitment to the effective use of health data – as always for the benefit of patients”, explains its Director, Dr David Guez.
Thanks to highly active sourcing last year, WeHealth by Servier has met with nearly 200 startups across the world. This year, it aims to broaden its horizons by seeking out innovations in related sectors – innovations which can be applied to health and which can make a difference.
WeHealth by Servier will be present at the regional selections (in Toulouse, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lille, Nantes, Nancy, Paris, and Lyon) and looks forward to seeing you at the final presentations on March 6 and the awards ceremony on April 9, in Paris. The event, which will enjoy broad media coverage, will boost awareness of WeHealth by Servier and help it to carve out a place for itself in this new sector.
