Servier Russia helped sick children for new year celebrations
Servier’s Russian subsidiary donated three million rubles (around €45 000) to a local charity this Christmas.
The funds were given to one of the country’s most-respected associations, Rusfond, which works to help seriously ill children. The charity will use the money to cover treatment costs for three children. One of them is six-year-old Mira, a young girl with a severe genetic disorder known as Fanconi anemia, which requires a bone marrow transplant and other costly treatments. One million rubles have already gone toward paying for her care.
This project, which is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy in the affiliate, was backed by all Servier Russia employees
Servier Russia also increased its involvement by asking another child helped by Rusfond to design its Christmas cards. The snowman drawn by Lisa, age eight, was sent to hundreds of Servier partners and customers in the country—the perfect opportunity to promote the charity’s efforts.
