Servier has taken note, today, of the decision of the Public Prosecutor (Procureur Général) of Versailles to bring the case before the highest court of appeal (la Cour de Cassation) following the divestiture of the Nanterre criminal court, in favor of Paris.

This decision comes nearly 10 months after the analysis of the Mediator case. As this investigation was carried out exclusively in support of the allegations, Servier will finally be able to defend itself publicly before an impartial court.

Servier points out that the company has made every effort to compensate all patients who have suffered as a result of Mediator, a process that is now at an advanced stage.
