Clinical Trials: Servier meets its transparency commitments

In fact, 100% of clinical trials sponsored by Servier in Europe have results reported in the EU Clinical Trials Register (EUCTR).

The European legislation imposes results posting in the EUCTR database for all due clinical trials within one year after completion. Ben Goldacre from Oxford University has created a live online web tool to monitor compliance: EU Trials Tracker. On the basis of May 2019 figures, trial sponsors have reported 57.2% of due trials.

Based on the number of due trials, Servier is placed on the 4th position among pharmaceutical companies that are 100% compliant.

As a member of the EFPIA (European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries & Associations), Servier has been committed since 2013 to a greater transparency in clinical trials, for the benefit of patients and medical knowledge. Servier shares clinical trial results with the public and clinical trial data with researchers on request on its website https://clinicaltrials.servier.com/
