A campaign in Poland to raise awareness of colorectal cancer

Among cancers, colorectal cancer is the second biggest killer worldwide. If detected early enough, it is also one of the cancers that can be treated effectively. This is why Servier Poland has decided to launch a national campaign to raise awareness of colorectal cancer risk factors and prevention.

A mobile clinic will crisscross Poland from September 5 to 14, visiting 5 large towns where locals can come for examinations by oncologists, proctologists, and radiologists, and for dietary advice. A huge inflatable model of the colon will be installed next to the mobile clinic to raise public awareness of the different stages of colorectal cancer.

Unprecedented in scale, this campaign has been organized in partnership with scientific societies, patient groups, and local media, and enjoys the support of a famous Polish actor.
