The excellent working environment at Egis Poland, a Servier generic pharmaceutical company, and the support given to its employees by the Human Resources (HR) department has been recognized with a prestigious award from the global HR consultancy, Great Place To Work®. Separately, the HR efforts made by EGIS have also led to an “I Love My Job” award from Poland’s Employer Branding Institute.
Great Place To Work® has earned a reputation for providing a rigorous and objective assessment of staff attitudes, and its reports are published in leading business media outlets around the world. The assessment was based on feedback from detailed employee questionnaires, along with an audit of the company’s HR policies and practices.
At Egis, all 231 employees were invited to complete the ‘Trust Index’ survey, which is designed to assess people’s view of five key workplace values – fairness, credibility, respect, team spirit and pride in the job. The response rate from employees was more than 90%, which showed people’s willingness to engage. Even better, the results revealed that 79% of our employees say “My company is a great place to work!”.
The success in the Great Place To Work® awards is proof that the HR approach taken by EGIS Poland is the right one. “Personally, the Great Place To Work® award confirms that our actions in the area of HR have made EGIS in Poland a unique place to work, with an approach that also fits with Servier’s global strategy.” said Monika Świerszcz, Human Resources Manager of EGIS Poland.
Meanwhile, Poland’s Employer Branding Institute has highlighted the success of EGIS’ HR department in building a friendly, supportive work environment with its “I Love My Job” award. In a survey, employees rated the company on a range of criteria, such as having a friendly recruitment process, exemplary internal communication, and support programs.
