Paris, France, 7 January 2021 – Servier, a global independent pharmaceutical company, today announced the appointment of Pascal Lemaire as Executive Vice President Finance. He succeeds Dominique Brissy, Executive Vice President Finance since 2014, who will retire at the end of January 2021. As Executive Vice President Finance, Pascal Lemaire joins the Executive Committee of the Servier Group and the Foundation Board.
Pascal Lemaire has over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, particularly on an international level in the consumer products sector and the pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Servier, Pascal Lemaire was Executive Director of Finance and Business Planning at Celgene since 2015. He was responsible for strategic and operational financial planning for all regions of the Group outside the U.S. He significantly contributed to the overhaul of the Finance and Business Planning functions throughout the subsidiaries and franchises. Pascal Lemaire started his career at Nestlé where he held various senior positions in corporate finance for 17 years. In particular, he conducted a transformation program of the Finance and Management Control functions. Pascal holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s in Banking and Finance from HEC Lausanne.
By joining Servier, Pascal Lemaire will be part of a long-term strategy to support the improvement of the Group’s financial performance to strengthen its competitiveness and attractiveness. “Servier’s independence is a major asset in establishing a long-term financial strategy and I am very pleased to join the teams to support the performance of the Group.
